1. If you are new to neuroimaging or MRI, please consider collaborating with someone experienced to learn the ropes.

4. Read the [![PDF](https://cubicwiki.psychologyresearch.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/pdf.jpg)Procedure for becoming an approved MRI operator (AP)](https://cubicwiki.psychologyresearch.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/cubic_aptraining_requirements.pdf) document and contact Ari [ari.lingeswaran@rhul.ac.uk](mailto:ari.lingeswaran@rhul.ac.uk) to get trained to operate the scanner.
5. You need to obtain ethics approval and secure funding for scanner time before booking scans.
